Week 20
Trick or Treat!
WOOHOO...I am halfway there :-) Baby boy Huth had a growth spurt this week and now weighs about 10 1/2 ounces. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel. He can hear sounds by now -- our voices, my heart and my stomach growling, as well as sounds outside my body. He will cover his ears with his hands if a loud sound is made near me, and he may even become startled and "jump." Baby Huth is moving often, too -- twisting, turning, wiggling, punching and kicking, but I still can't feel it.
We spent the whole day today registering at Babies R' Us and Target so I am wiped out. As you can see my belly definitely looks bigger compared to last week. I am past the whole "sucking it in" phase! I have been feeling good lately, but still getting sleeping in the early evenings. My belly aches sometimes, but that's what happens when the ligaments get stretched so much. Justin's still working on the dresser. Forecast looks good for tomorrow so hopefully he can get all of the drawer pieces cut!

Shopping in Raleigh!
Yesterday we went shopping with Justin's parents in Raleigh. It was exciting to actually look at things knowing that we are having a boy now! Our main goal was to get the crib and being the great shoppers that we are, we found the exact one we wanted at Green Pea Baby in Apex. They didn't have it in stock, but we can pick it up in 3-4 weeks. The other major thing we selected was the crib bedding. It was a tough choice between sports, animals, ocean or cars. Well, if you know Justin then you know which one he would choose...haha! We went with the transportation theme! It's really cute and not too blue. We are still working on getting the spare bedroom cleared out so we can make that the baby room. We need a bigger house!

It's a BOY!
WEEK 18:
Our baby is as big as a bell pepper and weighs 8 ounces (Length: about 5 inches, from head to bottom.) The last doctor's appointment is when we found out were going to have a boy...just what Justin wanted! During the ultrasound, the baby was moving all around, but I can't feel him yet. I am such a light sleeper that I am actually pleased about that right now, but I know in a couple of weeks I will be wishing to feel him. It looks like we may have a little soccer player in the making!
During the first trimester I was nauseous ALL DAY LONG! Week 12 is when I felt a major change and could actually function again. Lately I have felt great, but once it hits around 6pm I am very sleepy :-) Hopefully I will have a belly pic to show soon.
